Recycling Holiday Trees

Holiday tree recycling will be available to Missouri City citizens again this year. Households that participate in the municipal trash program and receive solid waste collection from Republic Services can place their trees at the curb for pickup on one of these three days:

All residents may drop off their trees at the Missouri City Recycling Center, 1919 Scanlin Road, from December 27th through January 6th.

Please clear all trees of decorations and stands before placing them at the curb or bringing them to the Recycling Center.

Another option is also available for those who want to assist with an Eagle Scout Project. Local teenagerStricklin Snyder is coordinating a holiday recycling tree program, whereby residents can drop their trees at theformer Quail Valley Golf Course Executive 9 Clubhouse parking lot at Hampton and East Creek Club Drive on Saturday, December 31st from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For home pickup in the Quail Valley neighborhood, please email qv.recycle@gmail.com to schedule an appointment for Friday, December 30th or Sunday, January 1st.
